Roxbury New K-8 Presentation

Dear Roxbury Community,

Please note some important updates regarding the Roxbury campus this summer due to ongoing construction:

  • Campus & Playground Closure: The school building, campus, and all playgrounds will be closed to the public for the duration of the summer.
  • Office Communication: Because the building is physically closed, all communication with the school administration and Office of School Support (OSS) must take place via email.

Summer Updates: We will be in touch throughout the summer with updates regarding the start of the school year and what the new campus layout will look like upon our return.

Planning and design for the new Roxbury K–8 School continue to move forward, with construction set to begin this summer. To improve traffic flow and enhance safety during arrival and dismissal times, the town will be restriping West Hill Road prior to the end of May. This project includes adding a new left-hand turn lane to the entrance into Roxbury Elementary School. To accommodate this upgrade, the shoulder area on the north side of the road will be utilized, resulting in the removal of on-street parking from the corner of Roxbury Road to West Hill Lane.
