Pick-Up/Drop-Off

 
 

Arrival:   8:45 AM - 9:00 AM

 Children may not be dropped off prior to 8:45 AM. There is no staff on duty

to supervise students before this time. Students who would like breakfast are allowed into the school cafeteria at 8:45 AM. If your child has breakfast at home, they will report to their classroom. Students must be dropped off in the designated drop off areas.

 

Dismissal:  Begins at 3:25 PM

Please note the following:

Except for emergency situations, parents should not regularly come to the office to pick up their children prior to dismissal. During the last hour of dismissal any changes made causes disruption to your child’s routine and classroom.

Parents of students who are picked up early on a regular basis will be contacted by the principal/designee to discuss the reasons and to develop a preventative plan.

 

Student Walkers: All walkers being dismissed should have a written note from parents giving permission to walk home alone.   Your child should enter through the school’s front entrance in the morning (8:45-9:00 am). In the afternoon, you can meet your child at the door in front of the front playground (up the ramp) and sign him/her out (3:20-3:45 pm).

 

Student Car Rider Pick Up:  Parents enter the parking lot on Roxbury Road in the back of the school and have your child exit/enter the vehicle along the sidewalk. (morning: 8:30-9:00 am, afternoon: 3:20-3:45 pm).

Students who are picked up will walk outside to their designated area with their teacher and await to be picked up.  Cars please use the Car Pick up signs provided and place them in your Car window.  

 

Please Note: When a child is left at school after dismissal, we make every reasonable attempt to reach the parent/guardian. Should all efforts fail, the Police or Child Protective Services will be contacted for assistance.
