The Box Top Winter Luau Contest is Underway!

Kindergarten Community Service Project:
The Kindergarten students will be conducting a community service project in February that supports PAWS - a non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing homeless animals, primarily cats and dogs, and placing them in loving homes. During February, please send in at least one item from the list below. These items can be placed in the decorated doghouses located in the front lobby of the school.
Needed: dog and cat food, treats, toys and beds; dog shampoo and brushes; cat litter; collars; blankets; leashes; pet bowls; litter boxes
**LOOKING AHEAD**
California Pizza Kitchen Fundraising Day, Tuesday, February 28th:
Present your CPK flyer from 11:00am to closing when ordering your meal and 20% of your check will be donated to Roxbury. If you can't stay and want an order to go or you want your order delivered ($25 minimum), simply present the flyer and 20% will go back to Roxbury. Donations are 20% of your bill before tax and gratuity. Donations will not be given without the flyer.
Boy's Night Out, Thursday, March 1st- 7:00- 8:30pm
**PTO Council Announcements**
The Office of Family and Community Engagement will sponsor a Title 1 workshop for parents of students in kindergarten, first and second grades, entitled “Family Literacy and the DRA (Developmental Reading Assessment)” on February 15, 2012 in the Government Center, Patio Café, 4th floor from 6:30-8:00pm. Babysitting will be provided for children 4 years and up. See attached flyers.
