The next several weeks are very busy with our Thanksgiving snack feast that we will prepare for ourselves. Right after that come report cards and conferences in Dec.
We continue learning about reading and writing in our workshops. We are trying to make connections to our lives to help us understand our reading. In writing we are learning about sequencing events so they make sense when we put together a story.
During the month of December I invite you to consider sharing a family holiday tradition with us. This helps us learn about our world and different cultures.
Please remember that with the colder weather comes the need for warmer outdoor clothing. We try to go out everyday and need to be warm.
The book in a bag is working out well for most of the children. Please help them get in the habit of reading each night and returning the book the next day.
I'm looking forward to seeing everyone at conference time.
