Art is taught in 40 minute periods approximately 8 times monthly. The Art Department supports our Character Education by integrating picture books, Artist biographies and themes into daily lessons. The Art Department also teaches a Museum Education Unit in Fourth Grade that culminates with a field trip to a local museum. In Fifth Grade, students have the opportunity to participate in an art show.
